 Mission Statement:

Enable and encourage members of the Church of the Presentation to reach out and help rebuild the New Orleans community in all aspects of their lives:  spiritually, emotionally and physically.

All ministry efforts are directed in uniting our members as "One Team" whose common goal is to help rebuild the New Orleans Communities affected by Hurricane Katrina and to assist the "Brotherhood of Commercial Fisherman" affected by the BP Oil spill.  This activity includes rebuilding homes with a focus on the spiritual, emotional, economic and physical hardships.  We strive to enable and encourage members of The Church of the Presentation to reach out, educate and inform our brothers and sisters in the surrounding parish communities, businesses and charitable organizations to volunteer their time, talent and treasure.

We thank God for giving us the opportunity to answer the need for rebuilding homes, communities and families in New Orleans, and to remind our brothers and sisters as we stand beside them, that by our common faith, they are not alone, and all is not lost.  We look to the future with eyes and hearts wide open and pray that we do not forget to help those less fortunate in our own surrounding areas, as they too have endured storms of their own.

Credo:

One Community helping another Community by giving them Help and Hope -

"The Power of One!"
